€1,000,000 for Co. Limerick under the Town & Village Scheme

Great news this morning for Co. Limerick, 3 projects have been awarded funding of €1,000,000 under the Town & Village Renewal Scheme.

Projects:

Patrickswell – €500,000 – towards the development of a community hub within the village of Patrickswell to enhance community services to include community hall, community café, meeting rooms and provision of hot desking facilities.

Askeaton – €250,000  – to bring a derelict and vacant site back into use and create a public place within the heart of the town for the local community and visitors to the town.

Doon – €250,000 – for the development of a Community Services and e-Hub facility in Doon

Minister Heather Humphreys announcement this morning proves Fine Gaels commitment to rural towns and villages especially across Co. Limerick.
