Minister O’Donovan announces funding approval for flood protection works in Ballyshonick, Pallaskenry, Co. Limerick

Minister of State with responsibility for the Office of Public Works, Mr. Patrick O’Donovan, T.D., has announced the approval of Limerick City & County Council’s application under the Office of Public Works’ Minor Flood Mitigation Works and Coastal Protection Scheme. Under the scheme, the Office of Public Works (OPW) has approved funding of €41,310 for the construction of a storm main over a distance of 150m along the public road. A proposed headwall is to be constructed at outfall to stream at Ballyshonick, Pallaskenry, Co. Limerick
