Minister O’Donovan urges business owners to attend a ‘Getting Ireland Brexit Ready’ workshop in Limerick

Minister of State Patrick O’Donovan T.D has urged businesses and individuals to attend a ‘Getting Ireland Brexit Ready’ workshop this Friday, November 23rd, 2018 at Thomond Park Stadium, Limerick.

The seminar is an opportunity for business owners and anyone concerned about Brexit to meet with and hear from government departments and agencies who have been working hard on getting the best deal for Ireland.

The event will be attended by the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Mr. Simon Coveney T.D,

Registration opens at 9am, and the event will run from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m., the workshop will offer advice and information on supports available.

Individuals / companies with an interest in the business, agri-food / fisheries and tourism sectors are welcome to attend the workshop for free but registration is required in advance.

Minister O’Donovan said it was opportunity for people to see all the hard work that has been done by the government.

He said: “This is an excellent chance for businesses especially those in the areas of agriculture, fisheries and tourism to meet with government departments and specific agencies who can advise them on how best to prepare for Brexit.

“It is also a good way people can see how hard our negotiating teams have worked on their behalf.”
