Fine Gael TD for Limerick Patrick O’Donovan has welcomed the National Lottery Grants Allocations made by the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs, Frances Fitzgerald
The organisations in Limerick that will benefit from the National Lottery Grants are Mountcollins Development Association, Rathkeale Boxing Club, Hospital Family Resource Centre, Pallaskenny Community Council, Ballyhoura Development Ltd and Ballysteen Sportsfield Development.
“These allocations will make a big difference to the successful organisations who provide much needed services for young people in their communities. Since becoming the first Cabinet Minister for Children and Youth Affairs in the history of the State, Frances Fitzgerald has prioritised the funding of community organisations who work with young people and this allocation to these Limerick groups is an example of her commitment to the sector.”
Patrick O’Donovan said that he would continue to work closely with community and voluntary groups in the County who are committed to improving services and facilities in their area’s.
